Private Health insurance
An admission to Spendelove Private Hospital for Medical, Post-Surgical and Pain and Rehabilitation Programs are normally fully covered by all major and smaller private health insurance companies. Please give our helpful team a call and provide your membership details and they can confirm this for you – we will be able to advise if your health insurer requires a payable hospital excess.
There will be a one-off incidental fee of $40 per admission to cover access to premium facilities.
Defence Force & DVA
Medical, Post-Surgical and Pain and Rehabilitation Programs are typically fully covered by DVA White and DVA Gold card holders and active military personnel. Please give our helpful team a call and provide your details, and we can liaise directly with DVA on your behalf.
Worker’s Compensation and CTP
Spendelove Private Hospital have cultivated a strong and trusted partnership with Worker’s Compensation and Comprehensive Third-Party bodies including WorkCover QLD, Comcare, SIRA, EML, Suncorp, RACQ, TAC etc. Our team can liaise directly with your Case Manager or Advisor and coordinate the required funding requests in accordance with their specific coding requirements. We strive to make life easy for your insurer, us and most importantly – you!
Superannuation
We have recently updated our finance options to also make compassionate release of superannuation requests for our patients who require care due to acute or chronic pain, with releases made on a case-by-case basis. Please reach out to us and we can discuss this option further with you.
Self-Funded
If you are in a position to self-fund an admission to Spendelove Private Hospital, we welcome a phone call to explore this option with you and coordinate the most cost-effective approach to receive our high quality service.
